Wickham named director of content strategy at The University of Olivet

Nikki Wickham has been named director of content strategy for The University of Olivet’s Office of College Relations, according to an announcement by Shannon Tiernan, assistant vice president of marketing and communications. Wickham, who began Feb. 1, is responsible for the strategic management and coordination of content produced digitally, and in accordance with the college’s brand.

“We are fortunate to have Nikki join the The University of Olivet community,” Tiernan said. “Her knowledge and expertise in the digital field has made Nikki a vital addition to our college brand. I’m pleased to have her as a member of our team.”

Wickham previously served five years as content specialist, paid media coordinator and online community specialist for TechSmith Corporation. In her time at TechSmith, she monitored social media channels and coordinated responses to customer questions through multiple media platforms – including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Plus and the TechSmith blog.  In addition, Wickham also assisted in the maintenance of content metadata and analytics tools, advertised for the company and wrote digital content.

A resident of East Lansing, Wickham graduated in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in advertising and a specialization in public relations from Michigan State University (MSU).  She earned her master’s degree in advertising at MSU in 2013.
