Tyler is a sophomore at Olivet studying Arts and Teaching Pathways. He plans to become an art teacher—but the classroom is only part of his story.

He’s the kind of artist who makes you stop scrolling. His photo-realistic paintings look less like brushstrokes on canvas and more like photographs.

Recently, Tyler painted Olivet’s own Burrage Library that reminded everyone on campus just how special this place is. The kind of work that doesn’t ask for your attention, it earns it.

Tyler isn’t waiting to become an artist. He already is one. He’s just doing it here, at The Vet, while building the skills to bring that same passion into a classroom one day.

What started as honest reviews of campus food became something nobody saw coming — cooking shows filmed alongside Olivet’s head chef, a real partnership with the food service provider, and content that made people genuinely excited about what was on the menu.

Nate Richardson didn’t just have a season. He made history.

Defensive Player of the Year.

First Team MIAA.

The point guard who led Olivet to its first MIAA Championship since the 1970s.

A program-defining moment carried on the shoulders of a player who can score from anywhere on the court and lock down anyone in front of him.

But here’s the thing about Nate — he did it here. At a small school in Olivet, Michigan, where the competition is real, the stakes are real, and the people in the stands know your name.
