How the Online Bachelor’s Degree and Teacher Certification Pathway Works

Choose a major in Integrative Studies with an education concentration and focus on subjects like Elementary Education, Mathematics, Science, or other fields. Earn your regionally accredited online Bachelor’s degree from The University of Olivet, established in 1863 and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Transfer up to 90 credits or apply prior learning experiences toward your degree to complete your degree faster. You may also earn up to 12 credits toward a Master of Education while working on your teaching certificate online.

While earning your online Bachelor’s degree, you’ll build a strong foundation in teaching through integrated coursework aligned with Teachers of Tomorrow. This streamlined approach is designed to position you for a smooth transition into a state-approved certification program after graduation.

Once you graduate, you’ll continue with Teachers of Tomorrow to complete certification requirements and apply for your intern or alternative certificate (state-specific), putting you on the path to lead your own classroom.
