- Available financial aid: There are a variety of grants (federal, state, and institutional) and scholarships (merit, performance, and institutional) available to students to help defray the cost of college. - Applying for financial aid: In order to be eligible to receive federal or state of Michigan financial aid, students must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and comply with all federal, state of Michigan and The University of Olivet regulations and policies affecting financial aid. - Disbursement of student aid: Students are notified of aid eligibility in a timely fashion upon receipt of the need analysis document or financial aid application from the student. - Exit counseling – Title IV loan program: The Financial Aid Office contacts borrowers via mail before graduation or shortly after a student ceases at least half-time enrollment regarding exit counseling for the Federal Direct Loan program.
