Academic Data - Achievement, Graduation and Retention

Credits may be transferred from another two- or four-year institution. Olivet will accept up to 62 semester hours from a two-year college and up to 90 semester hours from a four-year institution or a combination of two and four-year institutions toward graduation. There is no minimum number of completed credits required to transfer. The University of Olivet will accept credit earned from regionally accredited colleges or universities in the United States. An evaluation of credit gained is available upon submission of an application and transcripts to the Admissions Office. Limitations are as follows: 1) Only non-developmental courses that are graded “C” (2.0) or higher will be accepted for credit. 2) All transfer students must complete the final 68 credits for the degree in residence at Olivet. 3) Transferred credit must be documented by receipt of an official transcript from each institution attended. Transfer students are encouraged to consult with the Associate Dean for Academic Records to review transfer credit equivalencies.
