Olivet native Stephen Critchlow, a lead first-year success navigator, joined UOlivet in 2023 as one of the first navigators on campus.

Stephen graduated from Olivet College, now The University of Olivet, in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in health, physical education and recreation and sport. He went on to receive his master’s degree from Western Michigan University in coaching and sports studies.

With more than 17 years of experience in public education and as a teacher, Stephen has learned how staff and students must work together to succeed. He is using his knowledge to help this generation of college students at UOlivet.

“It is my joy to be a part of this Success Navigator program, and I look forward to the good things to come as a result of what this team has set out to accomplish,” said Stephen.
