Mike Reed is a designer and developer with over 20 years of professional experience building websites and apps for small to large businesses, schools and non-profit organizations.
Professor Reed specializes in bridging the gap between technology, art, and media, and is interested in how the internet affects society.
Professor Reed began teaching at The University of Olivet as an adjunct instructor in 2016. In 2022, he joined the full-time faculty as a visiting assistant professor of digital design and media studies.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in telecommunication and media arts and a master’s degree in telecommunication, information studies and media from Michigan State University. His master’s thesis explored the relationship between website design and credibility online.
