Lloyd McPartlin serves as the assistant vice president of enrollment and director of admission for The University of Olivet. Lloyd oversees our admission staff and supports the vice president of enrollment in developing strategies and initiatives to guide students and families who need to make informed decisions about their college choices.
Lloyd has been working in college admissions for 12 years. Before joining the Olivet team, Lloyd was the director of recruitment at Albion College. At Albion, he had several roles within the enrollment management team as he counseled first-year students, was a liaison to athletics and was the director of transfer recruitment and articulation.
“I absolutely love working with students and their families through this difficult process of searching for a college. There are many misconceptions about the affordability of private education, and I strive to help students understand a great school like Olivet can be possible.”
Before his career in higher education, Lloyd was an elementary physical education teacher for 13 years. He taught in Michigan’s Alpena, Coleman and Fowlerville school districts and coached middle school track and freshman basketball.
Lloyd earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Central Michigan University. He lives in Marshall with his wife Melissa and children Conor, Aidan and Leah, along with their two dogs Otto and Winston.
