Jake joined The University of Olivet in 2025 after serving as a graduate assistant with the Chippewa Athletic Fund at Central Michigan University, where he spent a year and a half contributing to athletic fundraising and department operations.

Prior to that role, he held two coaching stints with the Adrian College men’s basketball program. From 2018 to 2021, he served as a student assistant coach, playing a pivotal role in the team’s 2019–20 season that culminated in the program’s first-ever MIAA Tournament championship. He returned to Adrian for the 2022–23 season as an assistant coach following his graduation.

In between his time coaching at Adrian College, Jake was an assistant boy’s basketball coach at Tecumseh High School for the 2021-22 season, helping lead the Indians to their first winning season since 2001 and conference title since 1995.

Jake is a 2021 graduate of Adrian College, where he majored in sport management and minored in leadership.
