Erica Moats is the assistant director of graduate business programs, working with students, faculty, instructors and administrators in Olivet’s Master of Business Administration program. Moast has been a member of The University of Olivet family since 2007, previously serving as the ITS systems coordinator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Olivet College (The University of Olivet) and completed her MBA from Grand Canyon University in fall 2019. She is excited to help other adult and professional students reach their educational goals.
Moats supports the graduate business programs by creating community within the faculty, instructors and students in ways that are grounded in professionalism, trust-building and outstanding service. Her ITS background and MBA assist her in providing technical and systems support, faculty/instructor and student onboarding and systems training, and facilitation of program administration and assessment. Moats also works directly with students by providing the online student orientation and academic advising. She works collaboratively with the Admissions, Student Services, Alumni Engagement, Advancement and Academic Affairs offices to ensure a positive, integrated and smooth onboarding, learning, business services, graduation and alumni experience for graduate business students.
Moats also serves as a member of the Staff Senate. She grew up in Olivet and currently lives in Bellevue with her family. Moats enjoys being outdoors, camping, fishing, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
