Robin Luckadoo Chadderdon serves as the director of the Health and Wellness Center at The University of Olivet. In this role, Robin is responsible for leading and managing the College’s student health and wellness services. She oversees the contracted mental health service providers and other types of health and wellness services by working with local partnerships, faculty/staff and various student groups. Robin’s ultimate goal is to collaborate with all faculty and staff to help students thrive and succeed in achieving their short-term and long-term goals.
Previously, Robin worked with the Michigan Department of Human Services in child welfare for 12 years with a focus on older youth support services and relative placements. Due to Robin’s exceptional work in enhancing the safety of relative placements, she received a leadership award from the Business Service Center Director. Robin’s background also included time as an assistant deputy warden for the Michigan Department of Corrections. She served on the department’s diversity, equity and inclusion team for 10 years to identify and address discrimination and workplace harassment. In addition, Robin was previously an adjunct professor at Kellogg Community College and the owner and directress of La Petite Montessori Learning Center.
Robin holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Michigan State University, a master’s degree in counseling from Spring Arbor University and an early childhood certification from the Adrian Dominican Montessori Teacher Education Institute. She is also a doctoral student in human services at Capella University.
