Dennis Paquette

Dennis Paquette serves as an assistant wrestling coach and adjunct professor in the health and human performance department at The University of Olivet. He has dedicated his career to education and athletics, earning a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Northern Michigan University and a master’s degree in sport management from Western Michigan University. With 30 years of experience in public education as both a teacher and administrator, he has shaped countless students’ lives in the classroom and on the wrestling mat.

With 38 years of coaching experience, Dennis has developed a strong reputation in the wrestling community. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and USA Wrestling Silver Certified, demonstrating his commitment to athletic excellence. His impact on the sport has been recognized with inductions into both the Michigan Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2022 and the Michigan High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2023. Through his dedication to coaching and education, Dennis continues to inspire and mentor student-athletes at UOlivet and beyond.
