Daniel Hayes ’21 serves as the coordinator of recreational programs and assistant hall director. He works with the intramural sports program, the Laimbeer Fitness Center, the Kirkelldel Biological Preserve and The University of Olivet Student Engagement app. He also is a co-captain for the Culture of Quality.
Hayes was a nontraditional student who majored in psychology and sport psychology at Olivet. During his undergraduate studies, Hayes was deeply involved as a student worker in many roles and departments, serving the grounds crew and assisting with intramural sports.
“I like working at Olivet as it is a small college with a lot of potential, and it has a dedication to its students that is unmatched. I love the small classes and the opportunities we offer students to gain real world experience on campus. Olivet creates family for those who may not have a family/support system, and this helps our students,” Hayes said.
