Christine Jaffee, JD, is a 2010 Olivet College (The University of Olivet) alumna with a degree in insurance and risk management and a minor in financial management. While working in the insurance industry, Jaffee completed her law degree at WMU Cooley Law School in 2015 through the nights and weekends program.
Jaffee’s insurance industry experience started in 2009, where she now has experience in a home office setting, a property and casualty agency and a title insurance agency. In 2015, Jaffee began her law practice, where she practices estate planning, business planning, real estate, property management, family law and criminal defense.
In 2019, Jaffee was awarded the “3-in-10” award, an annual award given to three attorneys who have shown outstanding professional achievements, exceptional public service and have significantly contributed to the legal profession within their first 10 years from the Grand Rapids Bar Association. Jaffee was president of the Young Lawyers Section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association in 2018 and has been a member of the Law School Liaison Committee, West Michigan Justice Foundation Committee and Young Lawyers section through the Grand Rapids Bar. Additionally, she volunteered with the bar’s 3Rs program, an outreach program that teaches civics to ninth-grade students at Grand Rapids Public Schools’ Preparatory High School, for multiple years.
Jaffee values both the personal and professional relationships made through The University of Olivet and is thrilled to be part of the college in a faculty role.
