Carol Britton-Grant, CPCU, has over 30 years of insurance/reinsurance industry experience as an Accountant and Underwriter. Ms. Britton-Grant began her reinsurance underwriting career in 1999 with Munich Re America as an Associate Treaty Underwriter Trainee. She later held various positions at Munich Re, such as Treaty Underwriter Director in the Regional Markets Group and Treaty Underwriter AVP, which included multi-line treaty underwriting and account manager responsibilities.
In July 2007, Ms. Britton-Grant moved to GMAC Re which later became Maiden Re, and held positions as Broker Treaty Underwriter, Direct Group VP Treaty Underwriter and Direct Group Underwriting Manager. Currently, Ms. Britton-Grant is a Casualty Underwriting SVP at Munich Re America.
Ms. Britton-Grant has a BS in Accounting from Brooklyn College and received her MBA from Keller Graduate School of Mgt. Ms. Briton-Grant is currently serving as the CPCU Chapter Governor for East Central Region of the CPCU Society. In addition to the CPCU designation, she holds numerous Institute designations, the AFIS designation and the NJ Property & Casualty License. Since 2017, Ms. Britton-Grant has served as an Adjunct Professor at The University of Olivet. Additionally, Ms. Britton-Grant serves as a member of the Seton Hall University, Stillman School of Business, Transformative Leadership in Disruptive Times Certificate Program’s Advisory Council.
