Benyamin Kamali

After graduating from The University of Olivet with a degree in sociology, Ben joined Olivet as a First Year Success Navigator. He is currently pursuing his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Olivet.

Ben is passionate about student development and supporting others through their academic and personal journeys. As a former student himself, he brings first-hand knowledge of the unique challenges and opportunities that college life presents.

“The Olivet community gave me direction and so much love during my time as an undergraduate student. This was the first place I felt seen as a student. I am excited to help give back and help students transition successfully throughout their time at UO,” said Ben.

In his free time, Ben enjoys walking his dog, hiking Michigan’s trails, and staying active by playing sports. He is excited to contribute to the student experience and be a part of the continued growth of the navigator team.
