Honoring National Police Week
As we observe National Police Week May 12-18, all of us at The University of Olivet extend our gratitude and deepest respect to the dedicated law enforcement professionals who work tirelessly to safeguard our communities and recognize the critical intersection of law enforcement with social justice.
“Respect. Honor. Remember” is this year’s theme. We pay tribute to the fallen officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. On behalf of The University of Olivet, we thank the extraordinary law enforcement professionals who serve because they care about their fellow human beings and want nothing more than to help those in need.
Serving in law enforcement is about compassion, empathy and integrity. It’s about being more than brave. It’s about doing good for others every day. The University of Olivet is committed to supporting law enforcement professionals in their educational aspirations and career advancement through its criminal justice degree completion program, which integrates social justice and relationship building into the curriculum. The University of Olivet is honored to help law enforcement professionals be catalysts for positive change in their communities.
