The University of Olivet Chamber Singers and Women’s Chorale will perform on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. The event will be held at the Olivet Congregational Church, 125 College St., Olivet, Michigan. There is no cost to attend and a reception will take place following the concert.
The University of Olivet Chamber Singers and Women’s Chorale will be conducted by The University of Olivet Director of Choral Activities Joel Moore and accompanied by Rachel Drury. The choirs will feature selections from multiple genres and time periods, including music from the renaissance period, Latin music, musical theater and contemporary composers. Multiple soloists will also be featured in the concert. Both choirs will join forces to perform a beautiful tribute to the value of music with a performance of “The Awakening” by Joseph M. Martin.
“This concert will truly be a blessing to all that attend,” said Professor Moore. “Our choirs and soloists are singing so well and their music is inspiring. It will be a beautiful night of music at The University of Olivet!”
