The University of Olivet Career Services Network has received bronze-level certification for 2014 from Out for Work as a place where lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer students can find career resources.

Out for Work began its Career Center Certification Program in 2009 in part to help academic institutions improve the quality of the support they provide to LGBTQ students. It is a national non-profit organization dedicated to educating, preparing and empowering LGBTQ college students as they transition from academia to the workplace.

This is the third consecutive year The University of Olivet has earned the certification, which denotes the college’s high involvement within the LGBTQ community.
