“When The University of Olivet was founded nearly 180 years ago, its founders envisioned a symbiotic relationship of a university and community, created together, working together, thriving together in support of one another. Throughout our long history, there have been countless ways that The University and community have fulfilled this vision, enriching one another intellectually, economically, spiritually and culturally,” said Steven M. Corey, Ph.D., president. “As part of The University of Olivet’s ongoing commitment to the Olivet community, we are pleased to have the opportunity and capacity to provide financial support to key initiatives and needs within the greater Olivet community through our Community Investment Grant. It is an honor to support selected organizations in the important work they do for the benefit of the citizens of Olivet.”

The following nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply:

  1. Hold a current tax-exempt status as a public charity.
  2. Be a recognized government entity (state, county or city agency, including law enforcement or fire departments) and request funds exclusively for public purposes.
  3. Be a K-12 public or nonprofit private school or a church or other faith-based organization with a proposal that benefits the community at large.
