The University of Olivet is pleased to announce the 2019-20 Cultivating Women Leaders Speaker Series schedule, a program of the Women’s Leadership Institute (WLI). The series is comprised of three events aimed at personal and professional development for high school and college students through the mentorship of strong women role models.
The series is open to all high school students, parents, teachers, counselors or other administrators,as well as the The University of Olivet community. All events are free and held in Mott Auditorium at The University of Olivet.
High school students are also encouraged to register for a Women’s Leadership Institute (WLI) Visit Event in conjunction with each event in the series. This allows students to experience a traditional campus visit shaped around the WLI, in addition to attending the Cultivating Women Leaders Speaker Series presentation.
“The Women’s Leadership Institute is excited to welcome high school students to campus,” said Jamilia Johnson, WLI coordinator and recruiter. “During the visit, students will learn more about their opportunities at The University of Olivet and about the Women’s Leadership Institute. Our speakers will give high school students a chance to hear from successful women who represent what it means to live authentically and work toward their passions.”
