Recognition highlights UOlivet’s commitment to supporting military-connected students and families
The University of Olivet has been nationally recognized as a Top 10 Military Friendly® School for 2025-2026 by Viqtory Media, a designation that reflects the university’s strong commitment to supporting veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. In addition, UOlivet was also named a Military Spouse Friendly® School, further demonstrating its dedication to serving military families.
The Military Friendly® Schools designation is a trusted resource for veterans and military-connected students seeking higher education opportunities that align with their unique needs. The designation measures an institution’s commitment, effort and success in creating sustainable and meaningful pathways for the military community.
“We are incredibly proud to once again be recognized among the top Military Friendly® Schools in the nation,” said Leslie Sullivan, registrar and VA certifying official at The University of Olivet. “Student-veterans and military-connected students bring valuable leadership, life experience and perspective to our campus community. We are dedicated to ensuring they feel supported and equipped to succeed — both inside and outside the classroom.”
More than 1,800 schools participated in the 2025-2026 survey, with 830 institutions earning special awards for exceeding Military Friendly® standards. Rankings were determined by combining public data from federal agencies with responses from the institutions themselves, evaluating factors such as student retention, graduation rates, career outcomes, and support services specific to military students.
