The University of Olivet is excited to welcome new and transfer students to campus this spring. Whether you are seeking a four-year degree after high school or attending another institution, are a student-veteran exploring educational opportunities, or are in another special circumstance, The University of Olivet is excited to help you create a successful future and seamlessly transition to college.

In fact, nearly every student receives some form of aid at OC and there are many scholarship opportunities readily available to students who begin in spring 2019. Learn more about scholarships available to Comets this spring.

“This spring, we have many opportunities to help students transferring or entering for the first time earn extra savings while making their transition to The University of Olivet,” said Lisa Lehman, vice president for admissions. “No matter what semester a student enters OC, they will receive a high quality, personalized, distinctive and immersive educational experience. We are encouraging students to come to The University of Olivet this spring and take advantage of all that being a part of the The University of Olivet family has to offer. Our admissions office will help you every step of the way — don’t wait!”

Transfer to OC

In addition to bountiful scholarship opportunities for all students, The University of Olivet also offers distinct advantages to transfer students. Rewards will be based on the highest GPA from previously attended institutions, regardless of if that institution was a college, university or high school.

Transfer students also get individualized attention from a transfer specialist who focuses on meeting the needs of this unique population.

In addition, credits that may not transfer at other colleges and universities could transfer to The University of Olivet. Rather than taking a standardized approach to identifying which credits are accepted, students will meet with a faculty adviser in their chosen program to review and compare credits earned with course offerings at OC. Each class is reviewed individually, allowing transfer students to enter the new leg of their college journey without losing their previous progress.
