The Homecoming event lineup includes classic athletic events, like the Comets vs. Adrian College football game, and a number of special offerings in the Festival Grounds and Event Tent. Legends of Olivet Ghost Stories and Walking Ghost Tour
Thursday, Oct. 10, 7:15-9:30 p.m.
With 175 years of history, a place like The University of Olivet has hundreds of interesting stories, intriguing occurrences and unexplained mysteries. This is an exclusive storytelling experience where guests will be treated to an insider’s look at a sampling of the peculiar happenings over the years. Dr. John Homer will share mystifying events he’s witnessed or heard of firsthand during his 40 years on campus. Then, Dr. Art Williams will lead a 75-minute narrated walking tour of sites on campus where some of the most haunting encounters have ocurred.
Alumni Awards Celebration and Class Reunion Dinner
Friday, Oct. 11, 5:30-9 p.m.
The Alumni Awards Celebration will honor three Distinguished Alumni Awardees and five Athletic Hall of Fame inductees. A new addition to the evening is the Reunion Dinner. All classes celebrating reunions “on the fives” will be honored at the dinner. Those celebrating their 50th class reunion will join President Steven M. Corey, Ph.D., on stage to personally receive their 50-year pin.

Hosford History Center and Lawrence Archives President’s Reception
Saturday, Oct. 12, 9:45-11 a.m.
The newly-opened Hosford History Center and Lawrence Archives will welcome guests for several open houses throughout the weekend, including a reception with President Corey. The event will allow alumni and friends to connect and walk through the Hosford House.
Alumni Art Exhibit
Saturday, Oct. 12, 5-7 p.m.
The University of Olivet will present work by Jesse M. Bell ’00, Milie Funk ’15, Pamela Gleave ’99, Salina Kalnins ’97 and Mike Vedder ’82 in the Alumni Homecoming Art Exhibition in the Kresge Foundation Art Gallery. The exhibit will be open Oct. 3-31 with an artists’ reception on Oct. 12, 5-7 p.m. following the Homecoming football game.
