The University of Olivet Hosts Free Event for Teens and Parents
High school students and their parents are invited to a free printmaking workshop on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Printmaking has been a part of Olivet’s rich history for 91 years. The University recognizes the continued importance of including the practice and study of this medium in the visual arts curriculum.
Participants will be introduced to an overview of printmaking, develop individual printing plates, work on printing presses and learn about the history of printmaking. The day will also include a brief campus tour and information on participation scholarship opportunities at The University of Olivet. All materials and lunch will be provided.
Parents are welcome to attend the printmaking workshop. Registration is limited to 20 participants to ensure personalized attention. Register by Nov. 2 at www.UOlivet.edu/Fall24-Art-Camp.
