Join us for Difference Maker Day Sept. 25
Since our founding more than 180 years ago, service to others has been a cornerstone of The University of Olivet. The Difference Maker Program is a student group committed to completing community service and social action throughout the year on campus and across the country.
High school seniors are invited to Difference Maker Day on Sept. 25 to experience first-hand how UOlivet students and faculty actively engage in service projects during our annual campus-wide Fall Service Day. This free event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Tour Campus: Explore our welcoming campus and see up close all the service projects going on.
- Attend Sessions: Learn more about our academic programs, financial aid and the resources available to you as a student.
- Meet Difference Makers: Learn about the Difference Maker Program and how you can earn a scholarship while helping others.
- Enjoy Lunch: Get a feel for student life and enjoy lunch on us.
Students who join the Difference Maker program can earn a scholarship up to $2,000, renewable over four years!
Justice Burkett is a senior majoring in psychology and minoring in social work who loves to volunteer. “Growing up, we didn’t have a lot, and people helped us more than you could have imagined, so it feels good to be able to do the same for others,” she said “I was taught that if you have the ability to help others, do your absolute best to help in any way you can.”
