Navigating the world of financial aid can be one of the most difficult times during a student’s college journey, and that’s why The University of Olivet is hosting Financial Aid Fridays during the month of April. Any student and their family who has received his or her award letter may schedule an appointment in person, via phone or through video conference with the OC financial aid team to discuss their award or ask questions about costs related to college.
“We’re excited to introduce Financial Aid Fridays to help make the admissions and financial aid process seamless for future Comets,” assistant vice president of admissions Lisa Lehman said. “We know an affordable college education is a top priority for students, but it’s not always easy to understand financial aid awards and oftentimes, walking through it with someone on an individual basis can make all the difference. Thanks to Financial Aid Fridays, students and their families will be able to have all their questions answered by financial aid specialists in a way that’s convenient for them.”
Every Friday in April, four appointments are available for students and families to learn more about award letters and the next steps to take toward becoming a Comet. Available time slots are 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Students and families are always welcome to meet with the financial aid team during a campus visit as well.
