Join the UOlivet community in marking Juneteenth with respect, reflection, and hope as we gather at the two known gravesites of formerly enslaved individuals located in the Olivet cemetery. The ceremony will begin with remarks from President Steven M. Corey and Dr. Linda Logan, followed by personal reflections from members of our campus community. Together, we will honor the lives and legacies of those who came before us by laying flowers at these historic gravesites.
This event is a moment for reflection, education, and hope. Your presence adds meaning as we honor the past and look toward a more just and equitable future.
All are welcome.
