Art Workshop: Printmaking

Create, experiment, and explore the art of printmaking at The University of Olivet!

High school students are invited to join the Visual Arts Program for a hands-on Art Workshop focused on the creative process of printmaking. During this immersive experience, you’ll learn from Olivet faculty, create your own printing plate, use professional printing presses, and discover the techniques behind this unique art form.

You’ll also explore the rich history of printmaking at Olivet, which has been part of our Visual Arts tradition for more than 90 years, connect with current students and faculty, and learn more about opportunities to continue developing your artistic talents in college.

The day will include a brief campus tour and information about participation scholarships available to Visual Arts students.

Whether you’re interested in pursuing art professionally or simply want to try something new, this workshop is a great opportunity to experience creativity, community, and the Olivet difference firsthand.
