WHAT OUR STUDENTS HAVE TO SAY
"I made the choice to invest in me so that employers would do the same. The Criminal Justice
Professional Degree Program is something that I am proud of and no one can take it away from me — it
is earned. You become more prepared for leadership roles. Knowledge is power and this degree
prepares you for all aspects of the criminal justice field."
Lisa, Criminal Justice Professional Student
Police Officer
"Olivet is known for the relationships built with students, and the CJP program is no different. Professors know each student by name and interact with them on a personal level. As the director of the criminal justice program, I make a point to speak with every CJP student on a weekly basis. This may be by phone, text or email. It is important to me that they know and feel that they are a part of the Olivet family."
Regina Armstrong, Ph.D
director of CJ program and associate professor of CJ
"Those within the criminal justice field rarely work normal schedules with unscheduled overtime, court
appearances and more. Because this program is all online, professionals can work when it is convenient
for them to further their education, which opens up possibilities that may not otherwise be available. I
can attest to this. Without this program becoming chief of police would not have been possible for me."
Paul, Graduate
Chief of Police
