September 27: Explore what it means to lead boldly
Now more than ever, bold and courageous leadership is needed. On September 27, The University of Olivet Leadership Learning Community will host the inaugural Courageous Leadership Colloquium, a virtual, interactive event that features a diverse lineup of expert faculty, practitioners, and thought leaders.
Whether you’re an emerging leader or looking to enhance your leadership skills, this colloquium will provide insights on how to empower teams, inspire innovation and remain true to your values while navigating ambiguity. Students, alumni and community members are invited to register for one or more sessions throughout the day.
“These are challenging times that demand bold and courageous leadership. The sessions at this colloquium will provide you with the insight and confidence to lead with integrity, even when the path forward is unclear,” said Professor Kelly Corey, Ph.D., director of UOlivet’s Master of Arts in Leadership Program. “Our featured speakers are amazing humans who wholeheartedly live the Olivet charge to Be More and Do Good. I’m honored to know them and have them join us for this event. I believe they will inspire and educate everyone who attends.”
Design Your Learning Experience
The colloquium will kick off with a Welcome Address on Zoom at 9 a.m., followed by a series of 30 -40-minute sessions throughout the day. Participants can choose from 12 live sessions, including thought leadership presentations, skill-building workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. Additionally, asynchronous activities will allow for even more flexibility in designing your learning experience.
Attendees residing on campus or in the Olivet community are welcome to gather in the Kula-Samba Theatre at the Roznowski Learning Commons in Burrage Library for refreshments, networking and viewing the live feed of the event.
