August – The Time Closet: A strategy for reclaiming the value of your time

Date: Monday, August 25, 2025

Speaker: Kelly Corey, Ph.D., professor of business and director, Master of Arts in Leadership, The University of Olivet. Read Kelly’s bio

About the Session: Fitting grad school, a crazy work schedule, family, fun and rest can be quite a challenge. But, the challenge can be surmountable with a strategy that treats time as a commodity, sort of like closet space.

Join us for a life maintenance break while we’re all getting back in the groove after summer. We will learn the philosophy of putting value on our time, then we will use a simple method to allocate our time to the things that are most important to us, and identify some free time for fun, as well. When it’s done, we can breathe a sigh of relief that we have a plan for how to proceed when we get up in the morning. And we can focus our energy on boldly leading.
