Join the UOlivet Alumni Council

Do you want to stay involved with The University of Olivet? We are seeking UOlivet alumni who are interested in helping shape the activities of our Alumni Council both off and on campus. You are invited to apply to become an Alumni Council member.

The Alumni Council is an important link between alumni, faculty, staff, and students. It has several functions during the year, including selecting Alumni Scholarship recipients, hosting alumni gatherings, recruiting students, and promoting overall university goals. If selected, you will help further these responsibilities of the Alumni Council.

We seek membership from diverse interests, backgrounds, and locations to maintain a representative group with the broadest reach and skill base.

The Alumni Council meets formally 7-8 times throughout the year, both on campus and via conference calls. Members are expected to attend two-thirds of all scheduled meetings over their one-year term. They are also expected to contribute financially to the university each year they are on the Council.

Applicants are voted upon at regular council meetings. The results of the vote are notified to all applicants shortly after the meeting.
