About Our Music Program

If you are looking for a place to continue to enjoy playing your instrument while still being able to pursue other academic interests, then The University of Olivet is for you. We are a Liberal Arts College that specializes in small class sizes and personalized care for our students. Our band program is a tight knit group of musicians that enjoy rehearsing and performing together. We are happy to invite you into our friend circle to make music and enjoy college life together. Our band students are successful in all academic and athletic endeavors across campus.

Follow These Application Steps to Qualify For a $2,000 Band Performance Scholarship

1. Download and practice the music for your instrument (links to music sheet per instrument found below).
2. Record a video of you playing the entire piece (be sure to keep time during the rest in measures 27 and 28).
3. We must have video and audio of you playing your instrument.
4. Link the video in the form below and send it by May 1, 2023
