New Student Summer Orientation days are designed for parents and students to learn about various aspects of the Olivet experience in preparation for on-campus orientation.

What to do Before Attending New Student Summer Orientation
Prior to attending New Student Summer Orientation, log in to your application status page to:
- Change your ITS password and access your Olivet student portal via MyOlivet.
- Submit your parking pass information
- Accept your student and/or parent loans or other financial aid offers
- Schedule and attend a virtual financial aid meeting with your admissions counselor
Move-in and Comet Kickoff Days
The combination of Move-in and Comet Kickoff are designed to help you successfully move in, settle in, and transition into your first days of classes. Within those first few days students will have the opportunity to attend their Comet Experience class with their first-year navigator. Students will also be able to choose from various offered sessions to help them ease their transition to college.
Move-in Day: Wednesday, August 19*
*Fall athlete/participation move-ins TBD – students should contact coaches or directors as appropriate for more information.

• Morning – Move-in for new students
• Lunch – Welcome for students and families
• Transition Ceremony – Following lunch (time TBD)
• 3 p.m. – All new students meet in Mott Auditorium
August 20-23
• Small group sessions on technology, building connections, campus resources
• Meet with Comet Experience Class – Meet your navigator and peers
• Student Life programming and more!
August 24
• Classes begin at 8 a.m.
