What Can I Do with My Major? is a website that lets you explore majors and information about your chosen field, this website will help. Learn typical career areas and types of employers that hire in these fields, as well as strategies to make you a more marketable candidate. Continue your research through the websites provided.

LinkedIn is a networking tool to find connections to recommended job candidates, alumni, industry experts and business partners.
My Next Move is a web-based interactive tool for new job seekers, students and other career explorers to learn more about their career options. The site also provides a step-by-step interests assessment.
Career One Stop is a way to access Department of Labor information, this exploration guide takes career explorers through the following steps:
It also provides other job search skills such as resume and interview help, and seeking out help from people and organizations, such as local workforce centers and other government agencies such as unemployment.
O*Net is an occupational information site that gathers data from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, and has been developed under the US Department of Labor/Employment and Training Administration.
Some ways to search are by key word, industry, career cluster, which occupations have a “bright outlook,” skills/abilities/interests/knowledge/work activities/values, and many more.
This site provides a great deal of information for each listed occupation, such as tasks, education-level, tools used, knowledge, skills, and abilities, and many more.
It also links to other websites that provide information concerning average salary by national data, and broken down by state comparison.
The Occupational Outlook Handbook is compiled by the U.S. Department of Labor and the Bureau of Labor Statistics and contains comprehensive information on career fields across industries. You can find out about training and education needed, working conditions, what people do on the job, expected job outlook and typical earning potential.
